"Sea smoke" appears on the sea in Dalian, a port city in northeastern China. Sea smoke, or steam fog, is fog that is formed when cold air moves over warmer water. Meteorological experts said that the phenomenon is due to the large temperature difference between seawater and air caused by the recent strong cold front.
