U.S. Democratic incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock won the Georgia runoff election on Tuesday, according to NBC, claiming one more Senate seat for the Democrats.
Warnock's re-election expands the Democrats' Senate majority to 51:49, giving the party greater control over committees.
