Dalian, a port city in northeastern China, has had a bumper crop of vegetables and fruits this winter thanks to its increased investment in facility agriculture. The vegetable planting area of Dalian's facility agriculture has reached 13,000 hectares, with a daily output of more than 2,000 tons. In recent years, the local government has issued a number of subsidy policies to promote the development of facility agriculture and accelerate the adjustment of agricultural structure.
