China and Arab states have made concerted efforts to promote cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and delivered fruitful outcomes to benefit nearly two billion people, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Thursday.
Mao made the remarks in response to reports that China has signed documents on Belt and Road cooperation with 21 Arab states and the Arab League.
"China and Arab countries have seen their Belt and Road cooperation become better structured and increasingly fruitful. It is our belief that the deepening of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation will bring even more benefits to the peoples of Arab countries and the rest of the world," Mao said.
