Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to attend the first China-Arab States Summit and the China-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit, and pay a state visit to Saudi Arabia. President Xi's visit to the Middle East will draw a blueprint for China-Arab friendship and cooperation and guide the direction for building a China-Arab community of a shared future in the new era. It will also inject confidence into regional and world peace, stability, development and prosperity, said Liao Liqiang, the Chinese ambassador to Egypt.
