Young Chinese people who are currently working in Dubai and Abu Dhabi as well as Arab youths from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt were invited to share their stories in an online discussion. 

The Chinese youths were fascinated by the diverse, inclusive cultures of the Arab world, while their counterparts were surprised to discover similarities in the beautiful principles of Chinese culture, such as humanity, heritage, integrity and respect, with their own. They find that while there are unique differences between the two cultures, they have a lot more in common than not. 

Regardless, all believe that mutual admiration and appreciation will be critical in facilitating solidarity and cooperation for jointly building a China-Arab community of a shared future in the new era.
