In the slums of Rio de Janeiro, the lifestyles of rich drug dealers were a great temptation to children who grew up there. If not for Carlos Eduardo Prazeres, some of those children would have gone down the wrong path. His father, Armando Prazeres, was a famous orchestra conductor in Brazil. As a musician, Carlos wanted to continue his father's work of changing lives through music by having a symphony orchestra in the shanty towns. When he didn't have enough funds to do so, he found help from the other side of the world.
