South Korea's National Assembly on Sunday passed a motion calling for the dismissal of Interior Minister Lee Sang-min, Yonhap reported.
The motion, introduced last week by the main opposition Democratic Party, was submitted to the National Assembly on Thursday, in order to hold Lee Sang-min accountable for the deadly Itaewon stampede.
Yonhap reported that all the members of the South Korean State Affairs Investigation Committee overseeing the probe of the deadly Halloween crowd crush resigned on Sunday.
