The Shanghai Kunqu Opera Troupe held performances between December 9 and 11 to mark the 120th birthday of Yu Zhenfei, who was a Peking and Kunqu Opera master. It was good news for opera fans in the city, who could enjoy their favorite shows as COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. Gu Haohao, the head of Shanghai Kunqu Opera Troupe, said the performers can't wait for a tour outside Shanghai.
