China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) will scrap the COVID-19 PCR test requirement at the airport or ports for people traveling to the Chinese mainland and the Macao Special Administrative Region, CMG's Radio The Greater Bay reported on Tuesday, citing Lo Chung-mau, health secretary of the HKSAR government, who added that passengers need only present a negative nucleic acid test result obtained within 48 hours of departure.
Lo also announced that infected residents isolating at home will no longer be required to wear an electronic wristband.
