Perched on Snake Hill beside the Yangtze River, the National 5A Scenic Spot Yellow Crane Tower often appeared in ancient Chinese literary works and was one of the Four Great Towers in China. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times in its long history, and this most recent version was most recently renovated in 1985. It has been witnessing the recovery of Wuhan City after China eased its COVID-19 restrictions.
