A new route of western China's land-sea trade corridor linking India's Mumbai, south China's Qinzhou City and northwest China's Lanzhou City was opened, further lifting the corridor's transportation capacity. On the day, a train loaded with 265 tonnes of Indian raw sugar pulled out of the station in Qinzhou, and is expected to reach Lanzhou in less than a week.

The easy accessibility of rails to ports in Qinzhou means the cargo's marine and rail transportation can be docked seamlessly. As of December 10, the number of TEU containers transferred via the trade corridor topped 713,000.
