European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday that 800 generators were mobilized to support Ukraine as she pledges to help the Ukrainian people for "as long as necessary."

"Now Europe is providing more support to help Ukraine get through the winter," she told the conference "standing with the Ukrainian people," organized jointly by France and Ukraine in Paris on Tuesday.
