Migratory birds spend winter in national wetland park in Xinjiang

The Bortala River National Wetland Park has welcomed many migratory birds in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
They have been staying in the icy Bortala River.
The park sits upstream of the Bortala River in Wenquan County in the Bortala Mongol Autonomous Region.
Local temperatures have recently dropped to around minus 18 degrees Celsius.
