The European Commission said on Saturday that it signed a 100 million euros support package with Ukraine for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of schools damaged in the conflict.

"We have allocated 14 million euros to purchase and transport school buses to ensure Ukrainian children can travel safely to school," the Commission added.

"240 buses are already on the way to Ukraine from EU countries."
