Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday visited the joint headquarters of the military branches of the special military operation, the Kremlin said in a statement on Saturday.
"The head of the state examined the staff's work, was briefed about the special military operation's progress, held a conference and separate meetings with commanders," Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying by TASS news agency on Saturday.
The president spent the whole of Friday at the task force headquarters, Peskov said.
