A Statista report says the U.S. has the world's highest military spending in 2021, and it has arguably the strongest military power since World War II. Teng Jianqun, director for the Center of Arms Control at China Institute of International Studies, says that the increase in U.S. military spending is not for the sake of U.S. security but for specific interest groups.
