Located 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, the world's largest ice hotel reopened its doors for the new winter season. Each year, artists submit fresh ideas for the complex, spanning over 6,000 square meters, before parts of the establishment are rebuilt with new rooms and designs using only carved ice and snow from its surroundings. The northern lights can be seen above Jukkasjärvi, Sweden, during the winter month.
