Several loud explosions were heard early Monday in Ukrainian capital Kyiv and the surrounding region.
Kyiv Oblast Governor Oleksiy Kuleba said the region was under a drone attack.
It was not immediately clear whether the blasts were air defense systems destroying the drones or hitting targets.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported several explosions in the Shevchenko district of the city.
"Several explosions thundered in the Shevchenkovsky district of the capital. All services are working on the ground. More details later," Klitschko wrote in his telegram channel.
