The Chinese mainland recorded 1,995 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with 1,918 attributed to local transmissions and 77 from overseas, data from the National Health Commission showed on Monday.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland is 380,453, with the death toll from COVID-19 standing at 5,237.
