African youth urge peers to study history for a better shared future

During an exceptional closing session of the UN Biodiversity Conference (CBD COP15) that began on the Sunday evening of December 18 and finally ended at approximately 4 a.m. local time on Monday, though many described the historic package adopted as the same as what the Paris Agreement did for climate change, the CBD COP15 president did not bring down the gavel without some last-minute objections from African countries. A Rwandan-born Canada-based journalist who covers Africa's foreign policies and international politics was invited to share his thoughts on the role of Africa youths and the key to create impactful contribution to global development.
