The House Ways and Means Committee has voted 24-16 on Tuesday to release six years of former President Donald Trump's tax returns, U.S. media reported, ending a years-long battle by the former president to keep the filings private.
U.S. House Democrats have been seeking access to Trump's tax returns for years for one of their probes related to Trump.
Trump, who has launched a third bid for the White House, has lashed out at investigations involving him, alleging that they are politically motivated.
