Henan is one of China's largest vegetable-producing provinces. Due to earlier COVID-19 prevention measures and a drop in consumer spending, some parts of Henan faced the risk of having large quantities of unsold vegetables. Huang Yichang visited a village in Henan's Luoyang City where many villagers make a living from growing spring onions and learned how farmers and local officials are tackling the issue.
