December 21st marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Australia. Over the past half-century, the two countries have become close trading partners. But in recent years Australia has mistakenly poisoned its relations with China. Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong is visiting China on the 50th anniversary of ties with the goal that both sides will use the 50th anniversary as an opportunity to boost relations.
