Fuzhou in east China's Fujian Province on Wednesday launched a downtown fever clinic to provide consultation and prescribe medicine to residents to deal with the surging number of COVID-19 patients at hospitals and medical demands. Staff in the center said patients do not need to make an appointment to gain access. The size of the clinic is equivalent to five fever clinics in tertiary hospitals. The facility expects to receive 10,000 visits per day.
