A solar and wind farm built on a mined-out land was successfully connected to the grid for power generation on December 21 in Fuyang City, east China's Anhui Province. The new energy base consists of a 650,000-kilowatt photovoltaic power station, a 550,000-kilowatt wind power station, and a 300MW/600MWh energy storage power station.
