The 4th Hainan Island International Film Festival (HIIFF) has been attracting visitors across China since the country optimized COVID-19 measures. The HIIFF, which opened on December 18, features almost 100 films from China and abroad. Some of the films were screened on the beach, enabling visitors to enjoy the films accompanied by the blue sea and a gentle breeze. The seven-day event presents various types of excellent films, ranging from films produced by contemporary filmmakers, new films from renowned directors and classic films of all time.
