Anyin Choo, ambassador of Guyana to China, reads "The Lunar New Year's Day" by Wang Anshi, a Chinese poet in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). Choo said her mom was from Guangzhou and she studied Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University for four years in the 1990s, which was one of the happiest times in her life.
