Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges confirmed one person, a 19-year-old male, was killed in a shooting at Mall of America earlier on Friday.

Altercation broke about before the shooting, the police chief told a news conference, adding that the suspects have not been identified yet.

One bystander was grazed by a bullet, Hodges said.

The closure has been lifted, the Bloomington police said on Twitter, and advised people "to stay out of the area until further notice."
