Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of Ukraine's presidential administration, said in a Telegram post on Saturday that seven people were killed and 58 others injured after Russian forces shelled the city center of Kherson.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the objects hit are "not military facilities," and accused Russia of continuing "shelling of the civilian population."

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also said on Saturday that Russia has damaged almost 50 percent of the country's energy infrastructure using "missiles and drones."

There has been no response from the Russian side yet.
