Boosting consumption top economic priority for China in 2023: expert

China's economy is expected to gradually pick up steam in the wake of the new COVID-19 response measures. Darius Tang, associate director in Fitch Bohua's corporates department, predicts China's economy will grow at around 5 percent next year. He believes that boosting consumption is the government's top priority in 2023.
