Death toll has risen to seven after a bus careened off a bridge and plunged into an overflowing river in northwestern Spain late on Christmas Eve, local authorities said Monday.
The accident happened on Saturday as the bus was crossing a bridge over the Lerez river near Pedre village some 50 kilometers (30 miles) south of Santiago de Compostela.
Previously, rescuers have located two survivors -- the driver and a woman passenger.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the accident.
