Expert suggests elderly people get COVID vaccine as soon as possible

China's health authorities say 90 percent of the country's senior citizens over 60 years old have had at least one COVID vaccine, and over 180 million senior citizens have got three doses. However, elderly people remain the biggest high-risk group. Wu Zhiwei, director of the Center for Public Health Research at the Medical School of Nanjing University, suggests elderly people who aren't vaccinated get a COVID vaccine as soon as possible.
