The death toll has risen to 21 and eight people remain missing after the Thai navy ship Sukhothai sank on December 18, Royal Thai Navy said on Tuesday.
Eighteen of the deceased were identified and there's evidence indicating that they are army personnel, Royal Thai Navy said in a daily update.
Meanwhile, divers and underwater medics are working at a depth of 50 meters to continue searching for the missing people.
A total of 105 crew were on board the corvette HTMS Sukhothai which sank during a storm in the Gulf of Thailand.
So far, 76 people had been brought to safety.
