China's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2021 was revised to 114.9237 trillion yuan (about $16.54 trillion), official data showed on Tuesday.
The amount represents an increase of 556.7 billion yuan from the preliminary calculation, data from the final verification of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed.
At constant prices, the 2021 GDP increased by 8.4 percent year on year, up 0.3 percentage points from the preliminary calculation, according to the NBS.
