Hungarian designer Steven Back has lived in Shanghai for nearly 18 years, and three keywords - "family," "community" and "volunteering" - sum up his very special 2022, during which he spent more time with his family and met more neighbors than ever before. At the same time, as a foreigner in China, he also contributed to community volunteer work to give back for Chinese hospitality.

In 2023, Steven would like to return to his native Hungary for a visit. He also wants to devote himself to cultural exchanges between China and Hungary in order to further strengthen the cultural understanding and friendship between the two countries. He believes that 2023 will be a year of recovery for the world and China.
