Russia will not use the "peace formula," proposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as a basis for negotiations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has been quoted as saying on Thursday.
Lavrov told RIA news agency that Kyiv was obviously not ready for dialogue.
Zelenskyy asked the G20 economies last month to adopt Ukraine's 10-point peace formula to end the conflict with Russia.
He also suggested convening a global peace formula summit to discuss the plan, which includes withdrawing Russian troops from Ukraine, cessation of hostilities and establishing a special tribunal to prosecute Russian war crimes.
Speaking to RIA, Lavrov said Russia does not reject sitting at the table with Ukraine, and several rounds of negotiations had shown that it was possible to find mutually acceptable agreements before Zelenskyy toughened positions since April "under the influence of the West."
