In northern Kosovo, Serbs have been blocking roads for the past 19 days, protesting against the arrest of a former Kosovo Serb policeman. After negotiations, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced the barricades and roadblocks will be removed from Thursday morning in the northern part of Kosovo. Former policeman Dejan Pantic was arrested on December 10, leading to violent protests by Kosovo's Serb minority. On Wednesday, Dejan Pantic was released from custody and put under house arrest.
