A mathematical prediction shows the current wave of COVID-19 in the urban areas of Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing is likely to pass around the beginning of the New Year. It's already passed in Guangzhou. The prediction is based on research conducted by Chen Saijuan's team at Shanghai Jiaotong University, School of Medicine, and the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center.
