Domestic travel has surged during the New Year holiday in China. Highways saw over 28 million vehicles on the last day of 2022, up from less than 20 million last Monday. Meanwhile, railways recorded over 5.5 million passenger trips. And there has been a boost in tourism, with focus on ice, snow exploration.
