Brazilian football legend Pele's wake was held on Monday at the field of his former team Santos FC, with thousands of fans paying their last respects. The wake will continue until Tuesday, when Pele will be buried at a private cemetery in Santos. Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pele, died at 82 on December 29, 2022 from colon cancer.
