In 2022, China stepped up its efforts to revitalize its vast rural areas. Chinese President Xi Jinping made many grassroot visits and spoke to villagers and frontline workers, and also inspected their living conditions. President Xi reiterated China's determination to press ahead with the rural revitalization strategy, protect land and develop agricultural sciences and technology.
