Joseph, from Jordan, is a doctoral student in the Cardiovascular Surgery Department at Capital Medical University in Beijing. In the second episode of "Poetry Sans Frontiers" series season two, he told his story of growing up in a refugee camp. Influenced by his mother's philanthropy from a very young age, Joseph was inspired to better help others through his medical career.
