Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. in Beijing on Wednesday. President Marcos is the first head of state to visit China in 2023. It is also his first official visit to a non-Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) country since he took office in June 2022.
