Expert: Alignment will boost economic, security of Eurasian region

Chinese and Turkmen leaders maintained frequent exchanges in 2022. President Xi and President Berdimuhamedov met in Samarkand in September. The two leaders stressed the need to build stronger cooperation between China's Belt and Road Initiative and Turkmenistan's strategy to revive the Great Silk Road. Professor Zhang Xin from East China Normal University says such alignment will improve the economic and security situation of Eurasian core region.
