Health expert: China's issues unlikely to have material impact on epidemics elsewhere

In response to China's lifting of COVID-19 restrictions and the subsequent surge in infections, several countries now require travelers from China to have negative PCR tests as a condition of entry as well as quarantine. The Chinese Foreign Ministry says some of these measures are disproportionate and simply unacceptable. For a better understanding of this, our reporter Zhou Jiaxin talked to Professor Paul Hunter from the University of East Anglia, a London-based specialist in medical microbiology.
