Baoji Central Hospital is known by locals as one of the best and largest in the city. Residents say it's the last line of defense to save lives of COVID-19 patients who are in critical condition. As the number of patients in the city has been soaring since December, almost all departments of the hospital are receiving COVID-19 patients every day. Nine clinical departments with ICU wards are designated for those with severe symptoms.
CGTN visited the ICU ward of the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine of the hospital to learn more about how the hospital has allocated resources.
