Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. advocates raising the level of communication on South China Sea issues to maintain peace. He also hopes the Philippines and China will find a way to jointly explore maritime resources. As for geopolitics, the Philippines will not be dragged into the old Cold War formula and be forced to pick a side.
