Iran will host a meeting on Monday for judicial delegations from Iran and Iraq to probe into the assassination of top Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani, a senior Iranian judicial official said.

It will be the fourth meeting of the joint judicial committee set up last year by the two countries to look into the case of Soleimani, former commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps who was killed in a U.S. drone attack in January 2020, the website of Iran's High Council for Human Rights quoted council secretary Kazem Gharibabadi as saying on Saturday.

In the upcoming meeting, decisions made during the previous three meetings will be reviewed and new information on the case will be exchanged between the two sides, said Gharibabadi, who is also Iranian judiciary chief's deputy for international affairs.

The Iranian side has completed its investigations on the case, he said, stressing that an indictment will be issued against those who ordered and perpetrated the crime at any level by January 21.

Last week, Gharibabadi said 94 Americans have been charged with involvement in Soleimani's assassination, according to semi-official Mehr news agency.

He said the three main accused are former U.S. President Donald Trump, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former Commander of United States Central Command Kenneth Frank McKenzie, stressing that no one will be immune from prosecution in this case.

On January 3, 2020, the U.S. military, at the order of then U.S. President Donald Trump, assassinated Soleimani and the deputy commander of Iraq's paramilitary Hashd Shaabi forces Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis near Baghdad International Airport. The assassination was condemned by Iran as "state terrorism."

In an address to a commemoration ceremony on Thursday, Chairman of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council Faiq Zidane said the council had issued an arrest warrant for Trump over the assassination of Soleimani and Muhandis.
