International travelers to China no longer need to do a nucleic acid test for COVID-19 upon arrival from January 8. But right after China welcomed foreign travelers with open arms by optimizing its COVID-19 policies, certain countries started to impose travel restrictions on China by requiring particularly travelers from China to do a PCR test upon arrival. Behind the different treatments, is there anything about a political motivation other than science?
